• We start from primary sources wherever possible: regulators and official filings, company and protocol announcements, and published data, then established news outlets.
• Guides marked Fact-checked (17 so far) have had their factual claims checked against sources. Each sourced claim has a numbered footnote linking to the exact source, with the date we retrieved it.
• Figures that change over time, such as prices, market sizes and fees, are given with an “as of” date.

We revisit guides when the facts change. When a guide is materially revised, it shows an “Updated” date next to the original publish date.
